The indiGO Deflate utility is designed to view and decompress data archives created by indiGO.
indiGO uses the standard zip file format to create archive files. The windows environment does not support Unicode file names in compressed files. Regarding to this, indiGO uses the extended zip format for Unicode, which is compatible to mac-OS systems.
Under standard circumstances indiGO file archives can be extracted using the standard windows environment, i.e the Windows Explorer. If the indiGO project or the containing sample IDs are based on the Unicode character set, it is recommended to refer to indiGO Deflate to extract the archives, when not using the indiGO project management.
