As successor of the renowned Lumat, the Lumat3 tube luminometer is controlled via the easy-to-use ICE software while maintaining the excellent performance.

The Lumat3 is an ideal instrument for reporter gene assays, ATP measurements, enzyme assays, luminescencent immunoasssays and other glow and flash type luminescence applications.


Variable volume injectors

The Lumat3 features two reagent injectors providing the highest reliability and simplicity in liquid handling. Based on the jet injection principle the injectors combine high speed and precision of the injected volume with the reliable mixing of reagents. The injected reagent volume is programmable within the range of 10 µL to 100 µL.


Unique measurement chamber

The measurement chamber is designed to enable rotating sample transport. You can load a second sample while the first one is being measured, thus saving time which results in throughputs approaching those of an automatic instrument. The special design of measurement chamber provides superior light collection efficiency.


Software

The ICE software Research version (standard in Lumat3) supports ratio calculation for reporter gene applications, ADP and ATP determinations and enzyme activities.
The ease of use during protocol creation, measurement and data export has been achieved with the wizard-driven and clearly structured software.
