Using the Micro-Moist Microwave Moisture Analyser

Measuring the moisture on the wood chips is important for optimizing the process in the digester. Online measurement of the moisture on the conyeyor belt provides an immediate indication to the plant operator which enables him to optimize the white liquor addition to the digester. The result is an improvement of the pulp yield and quality, as well as a reduction of the number of Kappa.

Berthold Micro-Moist Analyzer measures the total volume of material on the conveyor compared to the other technologies, which only measure the surface moisture.
