There are two types of mould level measurements available:

GAMMAcast

With a cycle time of 5ms the radiometric measuring system is the fastest on the market. Due to the high-sensitive and high-quality detectors, GAMMAcast provides an outstanding measuring accuracy as well as long-time reliability.

With an improved detector design and the innovative cable connection technology “PlugProtect” the durability of GAMMAcast regarding moisture intrusion, mechanical strain and electromagnetic compatibility has been optimized. 

The new AOS function (Accuracy Optimized Source) makes it possible to get an adapted distribution of activity over the measuring range. Thus receiving a better accuracy in the upper measuring range without increasing the total source size at all.

One castXpert evaluation unit can serve up to four strands, irrespective of mould size. Every measuring channel has its own power supply, CPU etc., so it works completely independent and ensuring for highest operational safety.
