Neutron Moisture Measurement
Wherever conventional measuring technologies such as microwave or capacitive moisture sensors meet their limits, the neutron measurement technology is a reliable and accurate alternative. The well-proven measuring principle is, for example used to monitor the moisture of coke, sand, sinter and lime sand brick online and continuously. Factors such as temperature, pressure, pH-value or colour of the material don’t have an effect on the measuring performance. The neutron system penetrates deep into the material and measures directly in the material flow. Depending on the application and requirements, either the surface probe (1) or the bunker probe (2) can be used.
