The commissioning of the plant is another step towards gradually increasing the share of renewable energies in our energy mix and thus reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.
Our new photovoltaic plant in Arcore consists of 49 modules that generate around 21,300 kWh per year. This covers around 70-75% of our Italian subsidiary's electricity needs. The reduction in CO2 emissions is approximately 12.4 tonnes per year. This corresponds to an offset area of approximately 2 hectares of mixed woodland.
