When Prof. Dr. Rudolf Berthold set up his laboratory in a former hotel in Bad Wildbad in 1949, no one could have guessed what an exciting journey we were about to embark on.
Today, 70 years later, we are grateful for the trust that our customers place in us and proud to be able to work with them to improve life in a meaningful way.
Dr. Fritz Berthold, who took over the management of the company in 1960, strengthened the focus on market-driven innovation of the group by founding the business units Industry (today Process Control), Bioanalytics and Radiation Protection. A close affiliation of our company to science and technical research became the basis for the development of our trend-setting innovations.
In this tradition, we will continue to use our deep understanding of science and our customers' applications to help them achieve their goals. That is our passion, our drive and our mission.
