Our solution: RadSpect Radiation Portal Monitor

The LB 690 / LB 69xx RadSpect Radiation Portal Monitor provides continuous and automated monitoring of waste transport vehicles during drive-through operation. The system reliably detects radioactive sources or contaminated waste before unloading takes place. Automatic background compensation eliminates shielding effects caused by the vehicle or its load, ensuring stable and reliable measurement results.

If predefined alarm thresholds are exceeded, an alarm is triggered immediately, allowing affected vehicles to be stopped and appropriate actions to be taken. In this way, the system helps operators of waste-to-energy plants comply with regulatory requirements, maintain safe plant operation, and avoid costly downtime or decontamination measures.
